| 10-11:45am | Action in Solidarity with the Coalition of Immokalee WorkersWe invite all encuentro participants to join us in a picket against Chipotle in protest of the ongoing exploitation of farmworkers in Immokalee, Florida. Chipotle purchases tomatoes from tomato growers in Immokalee, and refuses to sign an agreement that would guarantee tomato-pickers a living wage and ensure labor rights. Location: Meet at the Student Union building on Maryland Parkway before 10:00am. |
